Don’t Be A Dream Killer

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

hebrews 11:6

For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

ROMANS 3:3

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

I Thessolonians 1:3

Faith takes work. Faith takes patience. Faith requires love.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

james 2:26

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

hebrews 10:23

If we magnify the problem, we will continue to experience the problem. But if we have faith in the finished work of Christ, we will experience the abundant life that He has promised (John 10:10).

You are killing the dream that God has for your life if you are walking in fear, doubt, unbelief.

Have faith in God.

Whose Report Will You Believe?

If God has given you a dream, a promise, a word over your life, it is your responsibility to stand, believing that you receive the manifestation of it in your life.

When Moses sent the 12 spies out to “spy out the land”, 10 of them came back with a negative report. They complained that the nations over there were too strong for the Israelites to take on.

Really?

You see, that be our problem: just like the Hebrew nation, we think that we are suppose to take on the giants in our lives in our own strength.

And that mentality ticks God off. Here’s what He pronounced as a result of the 10 spies negative report:

11 And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

23 Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me.

30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

numbers 14:11,22-23;29-30

You, too, have experienced the Goodness of God in the land of the living.

So, as always, we have a choice. We can choose to believe the negative report of the naysayers or we can believe the report of the Lord. It’s serious business. And for that reason, if you feel like you have been going around the same mountain, missing God’s will for your life, know that it’s not too late for God to use you. So be encouraged. The Lord wants you to know that He is all-powerful, He can redeem the time, and He can put you exactly where you are suppose to be.

Ain’t He Good! Won’t He do it! Amen!

Your part in this matter is to repent, become willing and obedient, and seek God daily asking Him to help you hunger and thirst after righteousness.

Use the Power of Your Words to Propel You Into Your Purpose

The Bible says of Joshua and Caleb, that they had a “different spirit”. They said what God said. God had already promised them the land (it had been prophesied to them hundreds of years before!).

Yet, the naysayers could only see themselves as small in the sight of the heathen nations. So they received the fruit of their lips:

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].

proverbs 18:21 AMPC

Jehovah God is Almighty! Give Him Praise and Glory!

God has given you a promise, a vision, a dream. Yes? He wants you to believe Him for Who He is and what He is able to do. He wants you to love Him with all of your heart, mind, soul and strength, and to trust Him for His Words sake.

Understand that God is not a man that He should lie…

Don’t be deceived. If you are going about establishing your own ways (and in fear, doubt, unbelief), you will die in the wilderness.

Stop killing your dreams through doubt, fear and unbelief. Don’t be a dream killer.

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

hebrews 4:12-16

Hold on to your dreams. Obey God. And trust Him (the “Dream Giver”) to bring your dreams into reality.

Grace and Peace,
