Yay! Our Fifth Annual Family Daniel Fast has truly been a blessing as we prayed our way through trials and tribulations and look forward to a year that I have dubbed “off the chain” in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
The theme of this year in our household and across this country I pray will be “a spirit of love and unity.”
But you know love in our family circle can sometimes be thwarted with unseen forces that result in hurt feelings, misunderstandings and the like. Sometimes family members walk in unforgiveness and never talk to one another again. This is really sad because particularly as believers it is important that we recognize that our fight is not with our family members, but with unseen forces that have an assignment to cause our downfall.
That was a prayer point for me during this year’s Daniel Fast. To drive out evil generational forces that had been showing up at times to cause division. I am on a mission to drive them out so that we could possess more of our land this year.
Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the Lord hath said unto thee.
Deuteronomy 9:3
O yeah! Baal-Perrazim (God of the breakthrough) is in the house! And I am asking Him to burn everything that is not like Him in this place! In the name of Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus, for your Goodness and Mercy unto Me!
Charity begins at home. And I am on a mission because I just can’t give up now. I come to far from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. And I don’t believe He brought me this far to leave me. No, the Williams family is moving forward into our destiny; and I am excited about it. To God be the Glory! No weapon formed against us shall prosper! Hallelujah!
Ok, I’m back. You may have noticed that the I quoted a song up there (it started to play as I was writing the post). For those who need encouragement in your family. God wanted me to tell you not to give up on your loved one(s). Hold up your shield of faith. God has a plan and He did not bring you this far to leave you or your family member in the wilderness of life.
Do you know what He is saying now? Only believe. Believe what?! Believe what His Word says concerning you and your family. When you…wait…He is saying that the way has already been made…trust Him and listen for His instructions. Declare and decree, and give God praise concerning where He has already brought you from. The Lord appreciates it when we glorify His name and talk about what He has already done in our lives. You know like how David praised God. He may have started off in the dumps but by the time he reached the end of the Psalm, he was singing God’s praises because He started telling God how good He was/is; how the Lord had preserved him as he conquered his enemies. Because the “Waymaker” is here to make a way in the wilderness, you can face your giants with confidence.
Fight For Your Family
Our families are under attack and we can only be as strong as our family unity. There is an onslaught of delusion, division and destruction happening in this nation right now. Our only hope Jesus: The Light of the World, who is wisdom of God to bring forth His healing balm.
We can talk a lot of rhetoric, but it is the Word of God that shall stand. The women of this nation can shout from the rooftops about how they are oppressed, depressed, but frankly possessed-it is only causing more of what they don’t want because at the end of the day “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God through the pulling down of strongholds.”
The pulling down of strongholds that we experience in our lives and that of our families starts in our closets, on our knees, in the secret place of the most high.
Conclusion
I entitled this article “fight like a girl for your family”. Actually, I felt impressed of the Holy Spirit to speak to the power of women to pray for their families. There is power in our prayers to see the change that only God can bring into our families. We need a move of God in our families, and prayer and praise ushers in the Presence of God to move in our lives and in our families. Lord, move us to the place of destiny that you have prepared for us. Move by Your Spirit in our families as only You can. I pray that my sisters would be encourage to pray, weep, wail on behalf of their families and this nation for You to do exceedingly, abundantly above what we can ask or think. in Your name and for your glory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
