Who is on the throne of your life? Is it God or is it mammon?
When the children of Israel set out into the wilderness, God fed them manna from heaven. It was their daily provision. They were instructed to gather the manna in the morning (enough portion for their families for that day). If they gathered more than the what they needed for that day, the leftover portion turned into worms! This was God’s way of “training” the Israelites to depend on Him daily for their provision. Matthew 6 says that we should take no thought for our life, but seek God’s Kingdom first and the way that He does things, and everything that we need (food, clothing, shelter) will be given to us. God will supply all of our needs because He is our heavenly Father and He takes good care of His children.
God is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever
God still wants us to trust Him daily for our sustenance. When we give over the reign of our lives to Him, He fulfills our needs (and desires) as only He can.
Trust God. You are favored!
