This post is the third in a series on Peace.

Bible Verse:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
Inspiration:
We hear and see this verse of scripture quite frequently during the “Christmas Season”. But someone needs to know today, that Jesus is the Prince of Peace. At His birth the angels announced, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Jesus, has come to bring us Peace.
Have you ever the song “Can’t Nobody Do Me Like Jesus?”. He is the only one who can bring true peace into our lives. When the enemy is raging in our lives we can run to our strong tower Who is a present help in the time of trouble. (Proverbs 18:10, Psalm 46:1)
I remember, that enemy coming at me in every way that he could to attack me in my mind, in my marriage…my children. During those days, I could feel those fiery darts being fired at me as I navigated through the wilderness of life determined to come out on the other side shouting the victory. It took a long time. And I am here to say that Victory is mine.
We fought every step of the way, as we ministered to others about His goodness and mercy; His Peace that surpasses our understanding. I’m not saying that demonic forces have taken a vacation. But Jesus said, “The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) Keep your eyes on the Prince of Peace. “Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusted in thee.” (Isaiah 26:3)
When you are walking in the purpose of God (like those disciples who were caught in the storm on that boat. Remember: they were in the boat at Jesus’ command to “go to the other side”), and hell’s hounds are at your heels; When The Prince of Peace says, “Peace, be still”, no weapon that has been formed against you will be able to prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Give Him praise and glory! Glory to God in the highest, Peace on earth good will towards men. Ha! Can’t nobody do us like Jesus!
